The beautiful Vancouver summer is finally peeping around the corner.  At Thinkhead, we are stoked because we are going to be at various shows and outdoor festivals around town to meet both old and new customers!

Next week, we are going to be at Make It Vancouver at the Croatian Cultural Centre with other spiffy vendors promoting local businesses in a show that grows every year.  Come support!

After many long hours of furrowing our eyebrows and scratching our heads, the new 2012 Thinkhead shirts are ready to go!  From nerdy pirates to  your daily coffee, our new shirts add a new twist to our original designs that played mostly on words.  These new ones are much bolder and extreme in some cases, and we are very, very happy with how they turned out.  Many of them also come in XXS and XXL now too.

Starting your own business is no easy matter.  Too many days of fighting hard to find the motivation to keep going.  That is why I keep this in close proximity to my work station.

It is amazing when talent and hard-work mix well to collectively produce something amazing.  I witnessed that something this weekend when I watched KP Krew compete in the High School High dance competition at River Rock Casino theatre.  They won both the sophomore and senior categories with a performance that left the judges speechless afterwards.

Thanks for representing Thinkhead by slaying that stage with an awesome performance! Keep up the good work!

I love browsing through libraries and bookstores for new ideas, especially in sections where there are lots of picture books.  Ironically, these sections are usually the Children’s because many adult books are filled with text.

I find myself visiting many places that overload my visual senses to get my creative juices flowing.  Lately, I am visiting arts and craft stores quite a bit.

In the spirit of Valentines Day, here was a great find that brightened my day:

Our good friends from Praise Team put together a crew called Bros and BraHs to audition for America’s Best Dance Crew in LA last weekend.

Not only are they amazing at their craft, we especially like them a great deal because of the positive environment they foster in their studio.  Lots of studios say it, but only a select few actually make it happen like PT.

Based out of Surrey Vancouver, everyone whom I have met from Praise Team has mentioned the word “family”.  Sharing stories about how they build each other up as dancer and as friends, Praise Team is an awesome group that Thinkhead strongly supports as we stand for similar values.

Keep up the great work, Praise Team!
